Solve common sign-in and connection issues

What to do when the dashboard sends you back to login or an integration connection does not finish cleanly.

If the dashboard flashes and returns to login

This usually means the browser is holding stale session data or the sign-in completed only part of the way. Start with browser cleanup before assuming your account is broken.

  1. Refresh the page once.
  2. If that does not help, open the dashboard in a private or incognito window.
  3. Clear site data for the dashboard origin and sign in again.
  4. If you still loop back to login, use a password reset and retry.

If an integration returns an authorization error

OAuth providers like Google, Slack, Calendly, and Acuity expect the authorization flow to finish from the exact redirect Isabel initiated. If you cancel the flow, use the wrong account, or the provider app is misconfigured, the connection may fail.

  • Restart the connection from the Integrations page instead of reusing an old tab.
  • Make sure you authorize the correct provider account or workspace.
  • If the error mentions redirect_uri mismatch, recheck the provider app's approved redirect URLs before trying again.
  • If a connection looks half-finished, disconnect it in Isabel and reconnect cleanly.

Do not troubleshoot from a stale callback page

If the provider sent you back with an error, return to the Integrations page first and begin again from there. Old callback tabs often keep the wrong state.
