For pest control & extermination teams

When the caller hears scratching, someone should answer.

Pest calls are rarely casual. Isabel answers after hours, checks the service area, captures pest and property details, books inspections or estimates, and handles urgent calls according to your rules.

Chapter I · The urgency

Pest calls arrive with a clock attached.

Illustrative, not customer data: the caller has already seen, heard, or found something and wants a clear next step.

Figure 01

Nights

rodent, roach, bed bug, and wildlife calls often happen after business hours, when the problem is easiest for the customer to notice.

The caller wants to know someone has the request in hand.

Figure 02

Property details

home type, entry points, unit count, pets, tenants, and access notes change how the job should be scheduled.

Good intake keeps the technician's first visit focused.

Figure 03

Recurring

one inspection can become quarterly perimeter service, mosquito programs, termite monitoring, or commercial maintenance.

The first answered call can open the whole job day.

Chapter II · How it works

How Isabel works for pest control.

Isabel handles receptionist-level questions and follow-up. Your licensed team decides treatment, pesticide use, pricing exceptions, and safety guidance.

  1. 01

Isabel checks service area and property type.

ZIP code, city, residential or commercial property, single-family or multi-unit, landlord or tenant, and access notes are captured before the request reaches dispatch.

  2. 02

Isabel captures the pest and the context.

Rodents, ants, roaches, bed bugs, termites, wasps, mosquitoes, wildlife, or unknown pests — Isabel asks where the caller saw activity, how long it has been happening, and whether pets or children are present.

  3. 03

    Isabel books inspections or estimates.

For standard jobs, Isabel books in Google Calendar or Acuity, or creates a Calendly booking link when connected. For jobs requiring review, Isabel sends a summary and points callers to your existing photo or portal process.

  4. 04

Isabel handles urgent calls by your rules.

Stinging insects indoors, active wildlife, commercial accounts, tenant emergencies, and same-day requests can be flagged for immediate callback or on-call review. Isabel does not give pesticide safety advice or diagnose bites.

Chapter III · A sample call

10:08pm. Scratching in the wall.No voicemail.

An illustrative after-hours call. Isabel captures the details and sends the request without pretending to diagnose the issue.

Chapter VI · FAQ

Questions pest teams ask first.

Isabel captures calls and sends summaries. Your licensed technicians remain responsible for treatment, safety, and final recommendations.

Isabel can capture what the caller saw, heard, or found, but Isabel does not diagnose the pest or recommend a treatment. Your technician or dispatcher reviews the details and decides the next step.
